Abernant Lake provides high-quality accommodation for up to 200 pupils. All rooms are en suite, with teachers also offered en suite rooms. In the summer, schools can also choose our tented glamping village within the grounds for a more adventurous option. Whatever the setting, every stay is supported by 24-hour duty staff and the care Manor Adventure is known for.

Abernant Lake is set within 55 acres of private grounds in the heart of Wales, with a stunning five-acre lake providing the perfect setting for water sports and outdoor adventure. Surrounded by rolling hills and countryside, the centre combines a tranquil setting with easy access to local towns. Located near Llanwrtyd Wells, it is within two hours of Cardiff, Swansea and Hereford.

Courses at Abernant Lake

Schools can choose from three core residential options. Our two-night stay offers nine activity sessions packed into three days. The Monday-Friday residential, our most popular package, offers 19 expertly led activities. For schools seeking our most affordable option, our weekend residentials (Friday-Sunday or Friday-Monday) deliver up to 14 activity sessions. Each course offers activities from 9am to 8.30pm every day including evening outdoor pursuits.
