Carefree Holidays

While it is true that the main thing we offer is activity holidays, adults who wish to join their family but do not want to participate in any of the activities can choose our Carefree Holiday option. This family holiday type allows you to relax and enjoy the surroundings and local area, letting the children do all the running around and being adventurous. There are plenty of things to see and do on our carefree holidays, so come along and let us look after the children, leaving you free to enjoy some relaxation.

England

At our centre in the countryside of South Shropshire you are welcome to relax by our heated outdoor swimming pool, or visit the outstanding variety of tourist attractions Shropshire has to offer such as Stokesay Castle, the charming villages of Much Wenlock and Ludlow, or sample some of the excellent pubs the area boasts. Or of course, you can simply do as little as possible.

Wales

At our Abernant Lake Hotel centre in Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales you can enjoy the atmosphere of the centre, once famous as a spa town for the health giving benefits of the local spring water. Watch your family participate in the activities or explore the local area. The choice is yours.

Scotland

Lockerbie Manor, our centre in Scotland has a proud history, with links to the Marquis of Queensberry and Oscar Wilde. The Manor house still looks as it did in the eighteenth century and the extensive grounds are perfect for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the tranquil fields and woodland, local forests, or the beauty of Castle Loch just a short distance from our centre.

Included in the price:
Accommodation, full board, use of the swimming pool (when not used for an activity session. Shropshire only) and VAT.

Not included:
activities, drinks, transport to attractions, entrance fees, and travel insurance.

Carefree Holidays are also available for children aged between 1 and 4 years. Children aged 2 years and under go free.

France

The Carefree Holidays option at le Château du Broutel in Rue, France is for adults who do not wish to participate in the activity programmes. You are welcome to spend your day visiting the local attractions or relaxing and enjoying the grounds and facilities of our beautiful Château Hotel.

Included in the price:
channel crossing, accommodation, full board (except lunch and dinner on your free day) and VAT.

Not included:
cross channel supplements, activities, French, and travel insurance.
